Advancing Minority Mental Health.
Through the program, grants of $5,000 will be awarded to mental health and wellness organizations in support of programs that raise awareness of mental illness in underserved minority communities, including the need for early recognition, the availability of treatment and how to access it, and the cultural barriers to treatment; increase access to quality mental health services for underserved minority communities.

Targeted interventions that improve maternal nutrition before and during pregnancy are essential for breaking this cycle. The nutrients we are particularly interested in are calcium, choline, and omega-3 long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (specifically docosahexaenoic acid – DHA).

Behavioral Health Early Access Regional Funding
(New Mexico)

Up to $26 million will be awarded to New Mexico’s behavioral health regions to support immediate investment addressing one or more of four critical behavioral health access shortages, including: residential treatment continuum of care, crisis continuum of care, medication assisted treatment for justice-involved individuals, or prenatal and perinatal substance use disorder treatment programs.
